What is “The Cloverfield Monster”?
So I forgot that Cloverfield opened yesterday. Darnit, I wanted to see it. I saw Juno instead.
It was good, but man, I wanted to see Cloverfield. This movie has sparked my curiosity.
So I Googled around a little and I found some pics of the monster, if any of you wondering what it looks like.
I can’t confirm anything, because I haven’t seen the flick yet. Anyhow, here you go:
NOTE: These first four shots are what have been passed around as pics of the Cloverfield monster, the last (fifth) pic is the closest representation that is in the movie.

This movie SUCKS! “Oh my God”, don’t watch it. Cheap and opportunist. And most of all, videography movie has a little sense of purpose. IMO.
It’s an original retelling of the War Of The Worlds story. I saw it, it’s wild!
Uhm… Pictures 2 and 3 are from Final Fantasy 10… a ps2 game… they are pictures of the big nasty boss thingy – Sin. not being rude or anything. just pointing it out. although. i will say it that the cloverfield monster does look a lot like Sin from final fantasy 10.
That is my pre-movie feelings. i look at this and think. “Huh, someone played final fantasy 10 and wants to make a movie about that monster, Sin, in New york. how weird”
Retelling of War of The Worlds? Uh… No… That’s not it… I think its an economic/political/ecological commentary really, but either way, great movie, I can’t wait to see it.
Actually I don’t think it has to do anything with an economic/political/ or ecological theme. And it is DEF. has nothing to do with War of the Worlds. If it did their would be added radio commentary or something.
Personally I think it was just made to be a Monster movie brought into present day. Not by the usual sense either, it’s more of a disaster movie with big and ugly rearing his head every once in awhile.
Also this isn’t a spoiler, it tells nothing ABOUT the movie. But at the very end, it will pan over the ocean and their will be a boat. Focus around the boat and watch. Thats all I’m saying. You won’t regret it, but if you don’t look, you’ll be shoveling out another $7 to see the movie again.

These pics looks more like “sin” off of final fantasy 10
yeah. two of those pics are the creature Sin, from Final Fantasy X. i know. i played the game, and that mug is forever imprinted in my brain.
Two of those pics are of Sin from Final Fanstay X for the ps2. Though the monster does look like a skinneir version. In my opinion the monster is a mix of sin and Godzilla.

None of these pics are of the monster the final movie here is tho. The Cloverfield monster looks like a crab and a snake had a baby lol not like these pics of a whalething. These pics are from final fantasy huh? Pretty friggin awesome looking I gotta play that game.

I liked the movie, and to the people that get sick, go see 27 or 28 dresses or whatever girl movie your chick takes you to.

i wish there were more scenes with monster, ’cause too much of simple walking the damaged NY bulls*it was in this movie :/
That track is absolutely incredible, and I’m not really into that type of music.
