The Top Gear guys have finally gotten their hands on the new 2008 BMW M3 coupe and have decided to pit it against the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG and the 2008 Audi RS4. Watch Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May duel it out in this really exciting episode of Top Gear.
A quick rundown of the competitors:
2008 BMW M3: 4.0 liter V8 /414 horsepower.
2008 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG: 6.3 liter V8 / 451 horsepower.
2008 Audi RS4: 4.2 liter V8 Quattro / 420 horsepower.

Jeremy Clarkson takes an Audi A8 Diesel across Great Brittan in an 800 miles trek from London to Edinburgh on one tank of gas . . . this means he will be averaging 40 mpg in a car that can go from 0-60mph in 6 seconds and has a top speed of 150mph. We need these cars in the USA badly!

The TopGear presentors (James May, Jeremy Clarkson, and Richard Hammond) are participating in a 24 hour endurance race at Silverstone. Their car, a used BMW 330i turbo-diesel. In leiu of Audi’s successful R10 TDI leMans victories, they set out to see how a road going car will fair in this grueling race of will and test of reliability.
