December 21, 2007Jeremy Clarkson takes an Audi A8 Diesel across Great Brittan in an 800 miles trek from London to Edinburgh on one tank of gas . . . this means he will be averaging 40 mpg in a car that can go from 0-60mph in 6 seconds and has a top speed of 150mph. We need these cars in the USA badly!

Top Gear – 24-hour diesel edurance race – Can fuel economy win a race?
December 17, 2007The TopGear presentors (James May, Jeremy Clarkson, and Richard Hammond) are participating in a 24 hour endurance race at Silverstone. Their car, a used BMW 330i turbo-diesel. In leiu of Audi’s successful R10 TDI leMans victories, they set out to see how a road going car will fair in this grueling race of will and test of reliability.
